Akaito/reassembly-ai-mod-example Inactive Block Decay 10 Allow modders to add a DECAY tag to their blocks. If said block is not in use by a ship (or part of a deactivated station), then the part either begins to slowly deconstruct or take damage at a rate specified by the modder.

Akaito/reassembly-ai-mod-example Limited Turret Firing Arc 16 Allow modders to create turrets with limited firing arcs. They are able to specify the angle relative to the default 'forward' position for the weapon as the starting angle, as well as specify with width of the angle the weapon can aim about. Obviously the auto-p value should take the width of the firing arc into account and provide an appropriate p-discount, with an arc width of 0 radians (regardless of where the initial firing angle is set to) being equivalent in p-value to a non-turreted weapon.

Akaito/reassembly-ai-mod-example Control Barrel Size What you are describing is a clunky workaround, and *also* only applies to projectile launchers. Beam weapons don't have this capability, and (last I checked) the beam barrel's aesthetics override the projectile barrel's aesthetics. 11 months ago

If we go that route, I'd suggest it absorbs either a certain percentage or certain value of damage per effect (or per second), as well as had a replenishing rate. about 1 year ago

Akaito/reassembly-ai-mod-example DOT and energy drain weapons (different damage types) I feel like this is a couple different suggestions. There's the damage type specification suggestion, the DoT suggestion, and the EMP (or other status effect) suggest. When I mentioned EMP, I was thinking of attacks such as lasers and plasma having an additional powerDrain (and possibly powerAbsorb?) value that drains (with a positive value) or delivers (with a negative value) power to the target vessel. about 1 year ago
