This is a nearly-foolproof way to both create a GUI-fronted Nginx reverse proxy, AND to automatically (read: painLESSly) submit LE requests without user involvement. This currently is only available as a Docker image, but the developer is quite friendly and willing to work with others. I think DietPi would be a FANTASTIC way to have an all-in-one like this.

I would like this straight from dietpi-software. There is a git issue with suggestions for a workaround, basically replacing the db in the docker-compose with this one yobasystems/alpine-mariadb which worked for me through portainer (just change the compose version to 2) installed through dietpi-software

It would probably be possible to use a SQLite database to keep it contained. https://nginxproxymanager.com/setup/#configuration-file

Just to keep you guys updated, the docker container works as it is without requiring any modifications :)
