There was an issue where different "maps" were discussed and what they could be used for, like different Z levels. I would like to consider relocation as a game mechanic. The only example I can think of is the game Starbound. Where you're dropped on a world, Minecraft style, and you gather resources. You will eventually exhaust this location, in our game you might run out of asteroids, and you need to move. It's important, then, that during you scavenging you saved enough materials to relocate. This would make for interesting decisions. You are stranded and slavers turn up. Do you exchange your best guy for fuel?|
