Anuken/Mindustry firefighting drones 103 This game needs the ability to fight fires in positions that cannot be reached by waves as fires that cannot be extinguished because parts of them are out of range are a pain to deal with, can destroy entire bases if a griefer messes with the power and they do not help the server load either. The best way to achieve that would probably be a new drone that has the ability to put out fires.
Anuken/Mindustry /sync should not clear the chat history 22 It really sucks that syncing clears the chat history, because we have to do that all the time.
Anuken/Mindustry armored routers/gates 5 With armored conveyors being a thing I feel something was missed there because their high health pool often doesn't matter as the distributing infrastructure still gets blown to pieces. To remedy that we'd need versions of routers and overflow gates that have comparable hp.
Anuken/Mindustry better schematic organization 13 At this point my schematic menu is getting pretty cluttered even though I've only added what I consider most important. I have a bunch of schematics that i would like to add, but don't in order to keep important schematics accessible. Right now the only way to get any organization into that menu is to use the alphabetic sorting system, however updating that sorting only happens upon quitting and restarting the game client. Then there are schematics that I would never use in one gamemode (say survival) while I find them extremely valuable in another (like pvp), which is a result of the different challenges of the gamemodes. To deal with this I would like to see either a category or a tag system added to the schematics menu that allows organizing and browsing schematics by category/tag (e.g. factories, defense, power gen). Ideally categories/tags will be customizable by the player and a schematic can be assigned to multiple categories. Also there should be either a button in said menu to update the sorting, or it should automatically update sorting every time the schematics menu is opened - as opposed to when the client is started.

Anuken/Mindustry Higher tier force projector. I do however strongly disapprove of the idea that force projectors should keep absorbing damage until power runs out. In effect that would mean that every sufficiently strong wave would suck the batteries dry. As someone who tends to spend considerable amounts of time dealing with base power management, I feel that this would break the game because battery power is a crucial energy reserve to keep the base running. This could lead to impacts crashing every wave due to lack of power... And if impacts (being the main power gen for late game) crash regularly your base will not survive for very long. While in theory this could all be avoided by having a separate power grid running the def off of a more reliable power source, this idea has some big issues... the biggest of which is the concept of "public servers" where there are always players which will neither realize that those grids are supposed to stay separated nor read signs or chat messages telling them as much. 10 months ago
Anuken/Mindustry Higher tier force projector. You guys sound to me like you haven't grasped what I believe to be the meta for force projectors. If you try to protect walls with them, you are using them wrong as they just suck in that role. Force projectors are there to protect critical stuff that does not have the hp pool to survive the odd bit of damage that gets past your walls. So basically infrastructure like power nodes, ammo belts, maybe menders, oil lakes, ammo factories and power plants. They are very effective in doing so if you set them up accordingly. However, having better versions of them would still be a nice addition to the game. 10 months ago
