Would be great to have some type of stats on buffering, both on a user and server basis. This would help tremendously to track down problems (user bandwidth or server based) and know when your upstream is getting to a point where you need to upgrade.

Yes please.

All, this seems a duplicate of This - http://feathub.com/JonnyWong16/plexpy/+45 At least, it should be combined. Please go vote that one. (It's highest requested anyway as of this comment)

Buffering also impacts directplay, not directly a duplicate of the initial request.

Would love to see historical data on buffering issues

One of the ways that I use the History page is to see how often shows are fully watched, and how long it takes a user to watch the episode vs how long the episode is.

This way I can see if its taking longer than it should for the user to play the episode, which typically indicates it was buffering a lot.

Is there a way you could add in another column that takes the total play time, excluding paused duration, and subtracts it from the episode/movie duration? If its anything greater than 0, you know it buffered and we can see how long it buffered for.

I would like buffering statistics as well.

Could we determine who the session number is in the log? If so, you can look in 'Tautulli Logs' and Search buffering, but it only shows session number. How do we determine the user of the session number? My example: 2021-01-02 21:38:09 DEBUG Tautulli ActivityHandler :: Session 39 is buffering.

Add to last remark: Or just add the username in the 'buffering' error line.
