Idea: for levels that aren't intended to be caves, show some mountains (or other unbuildable terrain) there instead.
Anuken/Mindustry Campaign Level Design: varied goals 18 Have a greater variety of goals for campaign levels. Have a level where you win when you've launched five thousand Surge Alloy. Have a level where you win when you've (heh) built and launched a rocket. Have a level where you win when you defeat all the monsters on Wave 100, where waves 95-100 are especially deadly. Have the last level in the campaign be an Attack style level where you blow up the enemy mothership.
Anuken/Mindustry Add items-produced-per-second to in-game documentation 2 Yesterday I was trying to figure out how many coal centrifuges I needed per oil extractor. The in-game documentation says: Coal centrifuges take 2.7 oil per 0.5 seconds. Oil extractors produce 15 oil per 1.67 seconds. After some thought, I was able to convert this to: coal centrifuges take 5.4 oil per second, oil extractors produce 9 oil per second, so two centrifuges per extractor. But the point is: it would be easier if I could just find those numbers in the documentation. As a supplement to the existing numbers, we should have the documentation tell us items consumed/produced per second of each type.
Anuken/Mindustry Have a way to increase your vision range 4 Have a way to increase your vision range. This would be especially useful for watching battles taking place -- right now, if I stay safely behind my walls I can't see most of the fight. (And venturing into the spawn point to watch the battle has other problems.) Have a Panopticon mech that lets you zoom out and see more of the map. Have a mech (or other feature) that lets you see the whole map when you press "m". Have a mech that is phased-out and invulnerable, so it can't attack but it also can't be destroyed, that you can use to watch battles.
Anuken/Mindustry Nerf Revenants -2 Every endgame setup features a giant fleet of revenants. We should nerf revenants a little so the decision is more interesting. Nerfing their hit points would work, but what might be more interesting is to give them a finite lifespan, so after two minutes they die and you have to make a new one. Then the number of revenants you could have would depend on your silicon and titanium production.
Anuken/Mindustry Modifiable terrain 3 Make some terrain blocks that can't be auto deconstructed but can be shot by turrets. I guess enemy walls serve this function right now, but it might be interesting to have "neutral" blocks that are turret-destructible.
Anuken/Mindustry Nerf menders+walls -3 Menders heal for a percentage of the target's health, and they stack. If I build a row of walls followed by two rows of mend projectors, my walls have an insane amount of regeneration. Using this technique it's possible to build a defense that lasts a very long time -- longer than is really fun to sit and watch. Nerf menders to have them heal a flat rate (not a percentage), or nerf them to not stack. Or both.
Anuken/Mindustry Campaign plot and backstory 14 Add a stronger plot to the campaign.
Anuken/Mindustry Rotate Schematics -3 Currently we can flip schematics horizontally or vertically but we can't rotate them. Allow rotating them.

Anuken/Mindustry Higher Kick Penalty I joined a game that had only one player in it. I was immediately kicked for no reason. My guess is they wanted to play with a friend, but didn't know how to do a private game, so they just made it a public game and kicked anyone they didn't know? I'm glad the timeout isn't 12 hours. 8 months ago
