It would help setups where the printer can only be turned on from OctoPrint.
One scenario where it will help a lot is this:
OctoPrint running on Raspbery Pi that is shutdown after the print
Printer is powered up by NO relay connected to PSUControl in OctoPrint, so only possible to use the printer if you manually turn it on via plugin.
Every time you turn the Pi on, you have to access OctoPrint and "flip the switch" to turn the printer on.
Useful use case:
The printer will turn on as soon as OctoPrint is up on the server
