Project Feature Score Description
tidusjar/Ombi Use preferences 0 I think it would be nice if users had a preference page where they could go and check a box that allows them to opt in or out of the newsletter. Maybe also allow them to opt in or out of mass emails. It might be useful if the admin could set a preference on the main settings to the effect of "allow users to opt out of mass emails" so that preference could be hidden from users if the admin requires that mass emails be enabled for all users. For users with Plex auth, this page could also display their Plex username and email address, but not allow them to edit that info (maybe display a note about that info being tied to their Plex account). For local users, allow them to edit their email address. Some other (wishful thinking) ideas just for fun: Display all the content a use has requested on their profile, and maybe allow them to modify their requests from here Based on other feature requests: If multiple users have interest in a specific request, have a "me too/follow/+1/thumbs up" button to express their interest (giving the request more weight when the admin reviews requests, thus helping the admin determine interest) and possibly receive a notification on other requests they are interested in, allow users to unfollow or remove interest in a request from their profile (as well a from search, or wherever else).
htpcBeginner/AtoMiC-ToolKit Configure LetsEncrypt options to nginx installation 31 This would require prompting for the domain(s) during installation of nginx.
htpcBeginner/AtoMiC-ToolKit Add Ombi v3 21 Per https://github.com/tidusjar/Ombi/blob/DotNetCore/README.md as of posting, Ombi v3 is the recommended install option. It seems to require a clean install and not an upgrade from v2.
feathub/feathub Display the number of comments in the main view of all listed feature requests 0 Similar to how GitHub displays the number of comments on each PR when viewing the list of all PRs for a repo.
GhostWriters/DockSTARTer Make a Wiki 7 Just adding this to the to-do list.
tidusjar/Ombi Auto Populate Requested Media from Monitored items in Sonarr/Radarr 1 The current behavior in v3 seems to be that if someone goes to request an item that is already monitored in Sonarr/Radarr they will see that it's been requested, however it does not seem to actually be indicated in Ombi that it has been requested on the requests tab. I am also using Organizr's integration with Ombi on it's home page which only shows what has been requested on the request tab of Ombi, not things that are monitored already via Sonarr/Radarr, which is the main reason I'm posting this.

Project Feature Comment When
tidusjar/Ombi Automatically delete/archive/hide completed requests With v4 in dev I would like to agree this would be neat. I don't remember exactly how it worked in v2, but it would be cool if there was an option to remove it immediately after it becomes available or after a specified delay such as 7 days or something. 11 months ago

GhostWriters/DockSTARTer automatic transition from atomic-toolkit (or already installed apps) to dockstarter Unfortunately documentation is not my strong suit and I have prioritized functionality in DS over trying to make a guide for this. If you'd like to join us on the discord chat (link in the readme) i can probably walk you through most (if not all) of getting switched. That offer extends to anyone in the future who reads this. almost 2 years ago
GhostWriters/DockSTARTer Allow docker to listen on IP address in addition to socket We've added portainer agent which is a docker container that accomplishes the same thing as manually editing the files. https://github.com/GhostWriters/DockSTARTer/pull/153#merged-event almost 2 years ago
GhostWriters/DockSTARTer Extra Dockers Ubooquity is on the Todo list. I'll have a look at the Minecraft image. As long as it doesn't require anything nuts for configuration I'll probably add it. almost 2 years ago
GhostWriters/DockSTARTer Add netdata This is now added. almost 2 years ago
GhostWriters/DockSTARTer Allow docker to listen on IP address in addition to socket FYI the hold up on this is I'm not fully confident in the security of how this operates and I want to make sure DS provides proper warning to users who opt in. Also I've been working on a fairly large rework of the UI. almost 2 years ago
GhostWriters/DockSTARTer Add Home Assistant Just quickly reviewed HA and it looks like in the repo we DO have a config volume mounted. I'm going to close this request but if there is actually a problem please open an issue on GitHub. almost 2 years ago
GhostWriters/DockSTARTer add remove orphans to run_compose.sh this is now in for review https://github.com/GhostWriters/DockSTARTer/pull/117 but we're going with `-p` instead of `-r`. I'll close this once the PR merges. almost 2 years ago
GhostWriters/DockSTARTer Add Watcher This is added now. almost 2 years ago
GhostWriters/DockSTARTer Medusa This is now added to the repo almost 2 years ago
GhostWriters/DockSTARTer add options and volumes for letsencrypt certs https://github.com/GhostWriters/DockSTARTer/pull/114 This is now in for review to be merged. almost 2 years ago
GhostWriters/DockSTARTer Configuration changes to support hardlinks using a 'common_mount' volume definition for all apps This is on the books to merge shortly https://github.com/GhostWriters/DockSTARTer/pull/113 almost 2 years ago
GhostWriters/DockSTARTer Add example configuration I'm going to close since we've added two things to ease any confusion. 1. We've added a check in the script to let the user know if the `.env` file is not found. The script will then copy `.env.example` and prompt the user to exit the script, edit their new `.env` file and then rerun the script. 2. We've added a GUI menu that actually runs through everything above but skips the prompt to exit, and instead prompts to fill in values for certain `.env` variables in hopes of getting users running faster and easier. We will improve on this over time. almost 2 years ago
GhostWriters/DockSTARTer Allow docker to listen on IP address in addition to socket I set both of my machines to `0.0.0.0:2375` and only run portainer on one of the machines. Portainer is able to connect to the others no problem. There should not be an issue using `0.0.0.0` on multiple machines because that's just an address that tells the system to listen on any address rather than specifying a `192.168.x.x` or other address. I'll get this on the todo list because it's pretty simple and universal so we should be able to handle it in DS. almost 2 years ago
GhostWriters/DockSTARTer Allow docker to listen on IP address in addition to socket Can you try `0.0.0.0` instead of `192.x.x.x`? I have that working and I'm pretty sure I could build that into DS fairly safely/universal for everyone. almost 2 years ago
GhostWriters/DockSTARTer Allow docker to listen on IP address in addition to socket That's perfect! I'll experiment with getting that method working in the most universal way I can so we can add it to DS. Thanks for finding this! almost 2 years ago
GhostWriters/DockSTARTer Allow docker to listen on IP address in addition to socket I have been trying to sort out doing this but it seems like Docker requires connections to be made with SSL certificates for this purpose. Maybe I just haven't found the right reading material about how this should be done. I'll definitely keep looking into it. Any info you have if you've already done it would be appreciated. almost 2 years ago
GhostWriters/DockSTARTer add options and volumes for letsencrypt certs So, to clear a few things up: - DS does allow you to change which ports the letsencrypt container uses, just set `LETSENCRYPT_PORT_443=123` and `LETSENCRYPT_PORT_80=98` or whatever ports you like. Notice the variable names stay the same, but the number after `=` can be whatever you want. - the LSIO letsencrypt container that DS includes already runs nginx and can be configured as a reverse proxy, and even includes many example configs to do so. There shouldn't be a need for a separate nginx container, although if you explain why you can't or don't want to use the LSIO letsencrypt built in nginx I'll consider adding a separate nginx container. - I'd like to ask why you want containers like emby to have access to the certificates? If they after behind a reverse proxy you shouldn't need the apps themselves to have the certs configured, just have the reverse proxy handle the SSL. Not saying we won't do what you're asking for, but I'm not understanding why you need it. - the only subdomains option should probably be included in DS as you have described and I'll add it to our to-do list. There are ways around this right now by setting the main domain to `app1.domain.com` and leaving subdomain blank and using extra domains instead like this `app2.domain.com,app3.domain.com` but as you see you're entering the fqdn for each subdomain as an extra domain. Having the only subdomains option would be simpler going forward. Also our gitter chat is a slightly easier way to communicate as feathub doesn't have any kind of reply notifications. almost 2 years ago
GhostWriters/DockSTARTer add remove orphans to run_compose.sh I've got this on the Todo list already and calling it "reset" and it'll be usable with `main.sh -r`. The plan is actually to do a bit more than just remove orphans, but I might consider just the orphan removal being added when running the generator. almost 2 years ago
GhostWriters/DockSTARTer Support for PIA VPN Two VPN containers are now live with two more planned (still in testing). I'm going to close this now since we're live with two. almost 2 years ago
GhostWriters/DockSTARTer Configuration changes to support hardlinks using a 'common_mount' volume definition for all apps This is a good idea and I was unaware of this behaviour. I'll add this to our todo list. almost 2 years ago
GhostWriters/DockSTARTer Add example configuration The Getting Started wiki actually already instructs users to copy an example `.env` file, and that's really all the config there is to DockSTARTer. The `.env.example` file is left mostly blank so that you can fill out your own information, but we're working on a GUI that will guide people through filling out the `.env` options. Each app that you enable will have its own configuration, and information about configuring each app is best found in the documentation provided by said app. We do have some information in our wiki about getting containers talking to each other. If there is something else you have in mind please join us on Gitter and we can discuss (FeatHub is not very good about notifications, so it's hard to keep up with). almost 2 years ago
GhostWriters/DockSTARTer Add Home Assistant I'm also just seeing this. Feathub doesn't seem to do notifications in any way (I'm really close to ditching it). Can you open an issue about the config on GitHub and I'll get it handled? almost 2 years ago
GhostWriters/DockSTARTer Make a Wiki Closing this now since we've got a good amount documented. almost 2 years ago
GhostWriters/DockSTARTer Add an option to install in LXC container After looking into it I don't think docker can directly translate to LXC so I'm going to say this request is unrelated to what this project is doing. There might hopefully be something similar for LXC elsewhere. almost 2 years ago
GhostWriters/DockSTARTer automatic transition from atomic-toolkit (or already installed apps) to dockstarter At this point I think we're leaning towards making a guide about how to transition. With DockSTARTer all configs are stored in a central location. With ATK each app puts its config wherever it wants, and it can change from one release to the next (which is part of what made atk so hard to maintain). Writing custom scripts to scour through all the possible places that each app could store it's configs would be a pretty hefty task compared to writing a guide to help people collect their configs and put them into place. almost 2 years ago
GhostWriters/DockSTARTer Support for PIA VPN FYI this is being looked into in some capacity in our VPN branch here https://github.com/GhostWriters/DockSTARTer/tree/vpn almost 2 years ago
GhostWriters/DockSTARTer Add Home Assistant Would you be able to give DockSTARTer a try and see if you can get Home Assistant working? Based on the guides you sent I think we have everything in place for a basic run. Adding the Docker monitor wouldn't be hard but I'm torn if it should be done as an override or a separate app (since it seems to depend on Home Assistant). almost 2 years ago
GhostWriters/DockSTARTer Add Home Assistant Wow feathub does NOT handle code well. Here's a gist link for what I was trying to show. https://gist.github.com/nemchik/e439912a3e6f6f157a9ba9270646b181 almost 2 years ago
GhostWriters/DockSTARTer Add Home Assistant Home Assistant has been added to the repo. I have not used it before so I am not sure if there are more things that are needed to make this container effective. Just by reading this guide https://www.smarthomebeginner.com/docker-home-media-server-2018-basic/#Home_Assistant_8211_Smart_Home_Hub I assume that you may need to pass devices into the container, but that could be infinitely different for each person, so I think that would be best handled by creating a file called `./compose/.apps/homeassistant/homeassistant.override.yml` and putting something like this in it ``` services: homeassistant: devices: - /dev/ttyUSB0:/dev/ttyUSB0 - /dev/ttyUSB1:/dev/ttyUSB1 - /dev/ttyACM0:/dev/ttyACM0 privileged: true ``` This may depend on your needs though (those example devices were copied from the linked guide). almost 2 years ago
GhostWriters/DockSTARTer Add Node RED Is this the Node RED you are referring to? https://hub.docker.com/r/nodered/node-red-docker/ We can probably add this container. I don't mind to read over the documentation but I may need to ask some questions about how you have used the app in the past to determine the default configs we would include in DockSTARTer. almost 2 years ago
GhostWriters/DockSTARTer Add a photo gallery/browser with slide show DockSTARTer includes Plex Media Server, which has photo capabilities, but might not be exactly what you're wanting. If you have a specific app in mind we can probably add it to the repo if you give us a link to their container on Docker Hub. almost 2 years ago
GhostWriters/DockSTARTer Add centralized location for all config files Let's define this request a little better. Currently DockSTARTer only uses one file for configurations, which is your `.env` file. Any configs generated and used by any of the containers that DockSTARTer starts for you will be placed in a folder you define in the `.env` file (referred to as `${DOCKERCONFDIR}` and then typically a subfolder for each app). Is there anything more than what I have outlined above that you are looking for? almost 2 years ago
GhostWriters/DockSTARTer Make a Wiki Roadmap is now in the wiki but I'll keep this open until we have some actual documentation. about 2 years ago
causefx/Organizr 2FA I prefer Google authenticator/Authy about 2 years ago
causefx/Organizr Setting to disable split screen tabs I don't know how to get rid of the split screen after accidentally opening it (and at this point I'm too afraid to ask). about 2 years ago
causefx/Organizr Page timeout and redirection I voted up on this issue because I've noticed sometimes my login will time out (left the tab open over the weekend at work) and if I manually reload the page it'll ask me to login again, but if I forget to manually reload sometimes it acts funny. I'd like it to just reload the page if it's logging me out and then just leave me on the login page and not reload anymore. about 2 years ago
htpcBeginner/AtoMiC-ToolKit add an option to upgrade plexpy to tautulli https://www.reddit.com/r/PleX/comments/7kmhl3/its_finally_here_tautulli_v2_beta_formerly_plexpy/ This thread by the PlexPy dev offers instructions on upgrading from PlexPy to Tautulli (the new version) over 2 years ago
htpcBeginner/AtoMiC-ToolKit Add ftp server Could you provide more information on how you think it should be configured? I think the end goal here could vary wildly depending on how it's implemented (which would make it difficult for ATK to accommodate). over 2 years ago
htpcBeginner/AtoMiC-ToolKit Move all config files to ~/.config I had the thought that maybe some apps keep their configs in whatever location they want, but as long as we know that location we could symlink the config file back to the ~/.config folder such as `/opt/nzbget/config.conf` (made that up, probably not the real config location or name) would be symlinked to `~/.config/nzbget/config.conf`. Does anyone see an issue with doing that? over 2 years ago

htpcBeginner/AtoMiC-ToolKit Add Duck DNS updater @mrowlinson yes most routers do offer some kind of DDNS option, but some (like older linksys models) only offer one DDNS provider that they can push updates to, and I've seen where the only option is a paid provider. Personally I use my router to update DNS-O-Matic (which can update almost every other DDNS provider out there), but I think it would be good for ATK to have an option available for those who don't have the option in their routers. over 2 years ago
htpcBeginner/AtoMiC-ToolKit Add option to periodically backup applications via a cron job. This may become easier after completing this other request https://feathub.com/htpcBeginner/AtoMiC-ToolKit/+21 Move all config files to ~/.config over 2 years ago
htpcBeginner/AtoMiC-ToolKit Add Duck DNS updater DuckDNS is awesome. I'm hoping that we consider adding something like ddclient which supports DuckDNS and many others. https://sourceforge.net/p/ddclient/wiki/protocols/#duckdns over 2 years ago
htpcBeginner/AtoMiC-ToolKit NZBHydra 2 FYI the developer DOES offer an upgrade path from v1 to v2. I would still think we should hold off on adding this to ATK (or replacing V1 with V2) until the dev takes this out of alpha/beta or states that he recommends v2 over v1 as the preferred and supported option. over 2 years ago
htpcBeginner/AtoMiC-ToolKit add an option to upgrade plexpy to tautulli I have updated myself and had no issues, but for the purpose of ATK I would think we might want to stick to the recommended installation. In some cases (such as Ombi) the beta is actually what the developer recommends. PlexPy does not yet seem to recommend Tautulli yet. over 2 years ago
Tautulli/Tautulli Automatically kill paused stream after X minutes paused Someone made a custom script for this: https://github.com/blacktwin/JBOPS/blob/master/killstream/wait_kill_pause_notify_main.py and https://github.com/blacktwin/JBOPS/blob/master/killstream/wait_kill_pause_notify_sub.py I think this would be great if it (and other custom scripts) were considered for inclusion directly into plexpy. over 2 years ago

htpcBeginner/AtoMiC-ToolKit Add Reverse Proxy through nginx. @TommyE123 hopefully this helps, I finally got EVERYTHING working (SSL via LetsEncrypt, reverse proxies, nzb360 working, etc). https://gist.github.com/nemchik/f210017446d5e5ad12a28cab8e8094f3 over 2 years ago
htpcBeginner/AtoMiC-ToolKit Create a docker container of everything connected I think bringing up Docker containers of all the apps in Atomic kind of defeats the point of Atomic. Wouldn't you just want to use docker directly at that point? Maybe I'm not understanding what you're asking for. over 2 years ago
htpcBeginner/AtoMiC-ToolKit Configure LetsEncrypt options to nginx installation I provided an example of how I successfully got this working here https://github.com/htpcBeginner/AtoMiC-ToolKit/issues/217 HOWEVER for some reason nzb360 didn't like my https configuration. over 2 years ago
htpcBeginner/AtoMiC-ToolKit Add Reverse Proxy through nginx. I provided some examples and a configuration suggestion here https://github.com/htpcBeginner/AtoMiC-ToolKit/issues/217 over 2 years ago
htpcBeginner/AtoMiC-ToolKit Configure all URLs for nginx at install. Is there more detail on what this means? If I had to guess I would think it's related or the same as this: https://feathub.com/htpcBeginner/AtoMiC-ToolKit/+8 over 2 years ago
tidusjar/Ombi Ombi Cloud A cloud hosted Ombi would be interesting, but I think it would need to be an instance for each user and that can get expensive to host, so I don't imagine it being free (which is understandable). almost 3 years ago
tidusjar/Ombi New User Registration Page I think it would be nice that if a user with a Plex account that is not my friend tries to login to my Ombi that it would either automatically send a Plex friend request, or provide instructions to the user about how to do it (and I guess supply my Plex username). If a user who doesn't have Plex at all visits my Ombi login there could be a registration page that either automatically registers them with Plex and makes a friend request as described above or gives instructions on how to do all of that. I think a first time welcome email from Ombi would be a nice way to tie all of that together so that after a user is registered with Plex and added as a friend, if Ombi noticed a new user added it would send a welcome email with a reminder of how to access Ombi and what it can do. almost 3 years ago
tidusjar/Ombi Add a toggle to allow for just movies to be put in the newsletter. On the flip side, sending a newsletter with only TV would also be handy. So I guess the ability to separate movies/TV newsletters or keep them combined would be nice. almost 3 years ago
Tautulli/Tautulli Retain statistics with move This might also tie into something else I'd love to see: I run PlexPy on a separate server from Plex. Occasionally I'll have to rebuild one server or the other without keeping my databases. When this happens on my Plex server and I keep the PlexPy database it causes all kinds of issues resynchronizing PlexPy to my new Plex server. Even though all the media is the same, if I don't add the libraries in the same order PlexPy mixes up all the stats really bad, so I end up having to purge the data anyway. It would be great if PlexPy could account for this, but what I'm asking might be more related to the multi server request http://feathub.com/JonnyWong16/plexpy/+14 almost 3 years ago
Tautulli/Tautulli Intergrate PlexRequests into PlexPy This would me neat, but I agree monitor should remain the focus. If this does end up being added, please also support Ombi (fork of Plex Requests). almost 3 years ago
Radarr/Radarr Plex Naming and Management Enable / Disable You can already do this just by setting the correct root directory when adding movies and adjusting your file naming. I believe the default they Radarr comes with is already very similar and you just need to remove the release quality from the naming. almost 3 years ago
Radarr/Radarr Option to choose name of movie and how folder/file will be named (ie Also known as, international title, etc) I've asked for this on GitHub as well but in a different context. I was basically told that titles come from the primary title used on TMDB and Radarr doesn't make any decisions about that. It would be very nice if alternate and international titles could be selected when adding movies. FYI the competition (SofaSpud?) does allow this. almost 3 years ago
Radarr/Radarr Allow Setting Indexer Download Priority for Same Release on Multiple Indexers Additionally you can do the same thing I described above with Sonarr. My Sonarr and Radarr both use only Hydra, and my download client determines the seed ratio but the media still gets imported while seeding because of the user hardlink feature (not sure how that plays on Windows, but it works amazing on Linux. Stop using Windows for media management! Lol) almost 3 years ago
Radarr/Radarr Allow Setting Indexer Download Priority for Same Release on Multiple Indexers Just an FYI, you can use NZB Hydra for this. Add all of your indexers to Hydra and remove them from Radarr. Have Hydra as your only indexer in Radarr. Hydra will let you prioritize indexers exactly like you're describing. For torrent indexers, add them all to Jackett and then add all your Jackett indexers to Hydra and you accomplish the same thing. Hydra also gives you stats about which indexers you use the most. almost 3 years ago
