Radarr/Radarr 3D support I would like to have the 3D option, tool. But in my case for the reason to *avoid * the download of 3D versions. Means, I'd expect Radarr then not to download any 3D version unless I explicitly told it to. This would be very helpful to avoid the unintended download of 3D version. almost 3 years ago
Radarr/Radarr Add Audio/Video Combinations As A Quality Option Yes, for me audio is as important as video. An automated downloader does not help me if I cannot control what kind of audio I get. I do not watch movies with something less than a 5.1 audio track. I'm not sure how feasible it is to have a combination of audio and video quality. If it is, it's fine for me. As a very minimum, I'd require a button / flag where I can say "don't download Stereo-only movies". Even better would be to have an option to activate "consider audio quality priority" where I have a list of audio quality, e.g. - DTS:X - Dolby Atmos - DTS-HD MA 7.1 - DD True HD 7.1 - DTS-HD MA 5.1 - DTS 5.1 - DD/AC3 5.1 - 2.0 (any codec) First of all, I can de-select all audio qualities that I don't want. Also, it's considered as a priority. Means, if video quality has let's say 1080p as a requirement, then it would try to find the one 1080p file with the best audio quality. If it finds a 1080p DD5.1 video and a stereo one, it downloads the DD5.1 version. If the movie is afterwards still monitored and it finds a 1080p DTS-HD 7.1 version later, then replace it with this version. To take it one further step, one could also imagine an option saying "Prefer audio over video quality". This would mean the following: If, as an example, video allows for 720p and 1080p and audio for DD5.1, DTS5.1 and DTS-HD 7.1, then e.g. a 720p DTS-HD 7.1 would be preferred over an 1080p DD5.1 version. If that option is not set, then the video quality will have priority, means it would select the 1080p DD5.1 in this example (but not a 1080p AAC2.0 version). It may sound a bit complex here but I think it's very straight forward when implemented as options. Please remember that Radarr is about downloading movies, and for many of us the audio quality is as important as the video quality. And, again, as a simple and easy minimum implementation, a simple "do not consider movies with 2.0 audio" would already help for a start. Thank you. almost 3 years ago
