Project Feature Score Description
Guake/guake support for inline images (compatibility with w3m-img) 1 Guake 3 introduced support for true colors, but displaying inline images is still not supported. This would be nice for using ranger and w3m withing Guake. Gauke still doesn't set WINDOWID env variable which is needed for this to work, but even setting this variable manualy doesn't help. Will update this request if I find what steps (or additional code) are needed for this to work

Project Feature Comment When
Guake/guake support for inline images (compatibility with w3m-img) I tried with simple python xlib script (since w3n is using xlib for x11) to access window through its WID and draw simple rectangle, it worked. So it seems like intervention on w3n might be needed :\ 7 months ago
Guake/guake support for inline images (compatibility with w3m-img) When running a preview snapshot of guake.glade inside glade, I can draw on it with w3m. It looks like something overrides this in python code 7 months ago
Guake/guake support for inline images (compatibility with w3m-img) w3m is working in gnome-terminal, and since s3mimgdisplay reads WINDOWID, I tried manualy exporting guake window ID to env variable inside gnome-terminal. Same results as if trying to run inside guake. If I export gnome-terminal window ID inside guake and run w3m, it displays draws img inside gnome-terminal correctly. Seems like it's has something to do with window itself 7 months ago
